FRISTER & ROSSMANN PZ
This is a stunning machine, I mean she's a real looker.
If she was a Woman she would be "Posh Spice" Everybody wants to play with her but only for fun..
Finished in two tone Grey with sleek Lines.
I purchased her online from Ebay and she came in a case with a damaged handle but apart from that She has the original manual and tool kit
The Frister & Rossmann cleaning clothes are still unopened in its original tin.
Again I think its a 60's machine but unsure of exact date
She required a little love in the lubrication department as her zigzag control was stuck, no jammed solid, worse than jammed you know the one I mean... but now she is just fine.
A pleasure to sew on.
Made in Berlin, Germany with an excellent build quality.
I love the simple single control knob for stitch lengh, zig zag and reverse.
More later but for now some pictures.
Apparantly Frister & Rossmann
Started out in 1864 in Berlin they had massive growth and at one point where the biggest manufacturers of sewing machines in Europe until 1902 bigger even than Singer.
The brand name was sold in 1945 to O Quitmann in london and now is owned by SMD (Sewing machines direct)
